NJ Posting Notice Requirements

New Jersey law requires that every employer post a Notice to employees stating that the business has a current workers compensation policy in place or has qualifies with the Department of Banking and Insurance as a self-insured employer. This Notice must be posted in an obvious place at the worksite(s), and must contain specific information about the policy including a) the name of the insurance company, b) the beginning and ending date of the policy, and c) the name of the insured. Most insurance companies will provide the notice to the business once the policy has been bound.
